Jenna Fischer is best known for her character Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office The Office, for which she received the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from an Ensemble Comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother Anne performing in church plays. The experience instilled a passion for theater.
Fischer was a stage actress in her own country. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons to be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer starred. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's first world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer launched the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, the year 2019. The podcast quickly became popular. Every week, it was within the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million downloads in its first couple years. Office Ladies, which was released in the month of October it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for the month of January in 2021.
The Actor's Life is her debut book that chronicles the road she took starting in St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was a professional actress. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography about her best friend and her experience in The Office.
