Richard B. Cheney a notable public servant and entrepreneur is vice president of the United States. When he accepted the Republican vice presidential nomination Cheney stated that he looks forward to serving with one who can work to achieve his goals by reaching across the partisan aisle and working alongside political adversaries with good will and a common goals. Richard Bruce Cheney is the father of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. At the age of 13, Richard moved his family from Nebraska to Casper in the state of Casper where his father was the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local district for soil conservation.
